History
History society will be taking a trip to the cinema to see the widely acclaimed 1917! This film is meant to be epic and swept up a HUGE number of awards this season, including Oscars for best cinematography, sound mixing and visual effects; an insane number of BAFTAs, golden globes and probably the coveted History SOC Film-Of-The-Year award too. Needless to say, it should be a great immersive experience that’ll get you the closest you’ve ever been to the trenches. Not to be missed.
