The Leadership for Social Action workshop is open to anyone who wishes to learn about what role you can play in making a difference and create a better world.
In this workshop, you will explore the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, which was created specifically for college and university students who want to learn to work effectively with others to create social change over their lifetime. This model, consisting of the 7 C’s of Change will be introduced in a way that participants will be able to reflect on their actions and leadership, and how to take action by applying the theory to their practice, be it in a volunteering capacity, in the classroom, or in a work environment
You will be challenged to think about yourself and others, and you will be supported to adapt your actions and behaviours during an interactive workshop.
