As part of the upcoming Student Volunteer Week 2018, Imperial College Union are teaming up with Anthony Nolan to help people sign up to the stem cell register
On Friday February 23rd we are looking for a number of volunteers to help run stalls throughout the day swabbing peoples cheeks, promoting the charity and encouraging sign ups. We only require a couple of hours of your time so volunteers will not be needed to stay for the whole day (unless they want to!)
Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. By helping people to sign up to the Anthony Nolan register, you may be able to save someones life!
This is also part of the Believe and Do Good Campaign run by Imperial College Islamic Society and Muslim Medics
