Last week, Union Council decided to introduce the new position of a Working Class Officer. This role will form part of the Union's eight Liberation & Community Officers, taking their total number to nine.
Liberation & Community Officers are volunteers that challenge social injustices and represent marginalised community groups as well as students whose experiences are not understood; the overall aim is to make Imperial more inclusive and diverse.

The Working Class Officer will be elected in the upcoming Leadership Elections, which opens for nominations at 12:00 on Monday, 3 February.
