The dance clubs at Imperial College Union cater for all levels from beginner to expert. Many have different classes for different abilities and some don’t require specific equipment or a partner so it’s a great opportunity to try something new or perfect a dance style you already know. Dancing is a really fun way to learn a new skill, meet people and exercise all at once as a break from your studies.
Many of the sessions are held right here on the South Kensington campus in the Imperial College Union Gym which boasts a wall of full length mirrors to perfect your moves. Other classes are held at Charing Cross Campus or in other dance studios nearby.
Groups participate in competitions from beginner to advanced level and represent Imperial College in national and international competitions. You can also experience the range of dance at Imperial College by attending one of the many performances they put on, for example during Arts Fest in February or at International Night in March.
