Vote in the General Election

There’s a General Election taking place on 12 December 2019. This election is particularly important, as it determines if a new government will be elected to lead the UK or if the current one will remain, and therefore reveal what kind of Brexit we'll have. As students, it is very important to make your voice heard as whichever decision the UK decides on will impact your future. So whatever your stance, we encourage you to take this opportunity to have your say. Every vote counts. Here's what you need to know!

Not sure who to vote for? It can all seem a bit overwhelming sometimes, so it's always great to do a little research into what each party stands for and find out about your local candidates. Some easy tools to help you are:

If you registered to vote via post, then a polling card will be arrive in the mail for you to fill out. If not, head to a polling station in your area on 12 December to have your say!
