Calisthenics Workshop
Ever wanted to train like a Spartan? Want to get stronger, faster, leaner and bigger without ever stepping foot in the gym or lifting weights? Have you ever wanted to have the body of a Greek God? Is the gorilla your spirit animal? If the answer to any of the above is yes (preferably all of them), then you should join us for a calisthenics workshop! The word calisthenics comes from the ancient Greek words kallos (κάλλος) and sthenos (σθένος), which mean "beauty/beautiful" and "strength" respectively. In essence, it emphasizes the combination of aesthetic perfection of the human body and the strength obtained through bodyweight exercises. During the workshop, we will focus on teaching you the correct form for doing pull-ups, dips and pushups! A friendly competition will follow shortly afterwards where we will attempt to do maximum reps for each exercise showcased. 'You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!'
