Introduction to Fossil Free Imperial and Divestment

Imperial is one of the only Russell Group universities that still invest in fossil fuel companies, with 101 universities in the UK having divested from fossil fuel companies in the UK. The campaign last year managed to raise over 500 signatures for our divestment petition and gain support from climate scientists at Imperial. By joining for this interactive and practical session you'll leave with a clear understanding of what actions YOU can take in the fight for climate and social justice, with one clear overarching tactic: using your power as students to push Imperial College to publicly announce divestment from fossil fuels. This workshop will be run by People and Planet and Imperial Climate Action.
