Join Jo Franchetti as she deconstructs the impostor syndrome, that can sometimes make you feel inferior in working in the tech industry, particularly as a woman. Jo will be telling us how we can move past that negative voice, spot the destructive patterns and strive for success!! The Impostor syndrome?? A psychological phenomenon that reflects a belief that you’re an inadequate and incompetent failure despite evidence that indicates you’re skilled and quite successful, with a fear of being exposed as a “fraud”. Jo is a Web developer advocate for Samsung Internet. With a passion for writing good CSS, accessibility and UX. She is an advocate for diversity and delivers inspiring talks for women in the tech industry and tackling perfectionism, anxiety and the impostor syndrome. This talk will be followed by an informal networking session with refreshments. Let us know you are coming, so we know how many to order for!
