Tribal Fusion Belly Dance: Gorgeous Vintage Combos

For our fourth and final Summer Workshop, we've invited Catherine Taylor (who performed at HipNotize with her troupe Curious Verses https://youtu.be/4eJdQrOy-Yc) to give a two hour Tribal Fusion workshop for us Catherine will be giving her “Gorgeous Vintage Combos” workshop wherein we’ll learn combos utilising Burlesque, Belly Dance and Tribal Fusion movements to channel our inner pinup - get your sass on in this fun and feisty workshop! As with all of our previous workshops, we welcome people of all levels (even if you’ve never even danced before) to try out our classes – they’re always lots of fun! About Catherine Catherine Taylor is a London-based performer and teacher of Tribal Fusion, ITS and - under the pseudonym Vul Varine - Burlesque. She is known for her strong stage presence and innovative choreographies, as well as her engaging and approachable teaching style. She is a founding member of Tribal Fusion troupe Curious Verses, director of the ITS troupe Sigma, and is co-organiser of highly popular cabaret show The Honeysuckle Revue. Catherine began her belly dance journey ten years ago with Oriental style, before studying Tribal in the form of Gypsy Caravan, Tribal Fusion and ITS. She was an original member of the London Algerian Ballet. She has also trained in Polynesian dance, Silvestre Technique and Orixa dance movement. She is qualified to teach all 4 levels of Unmata's ITS format, and level 1 of the Gypsy Caravan format. She is working towards her qualification as an Integrated Dance teacher, and this May she is undertaking the third level of Zoe Jakes' Dancecraft format.
