A Concert for the Centenary of Women's Suffrage Please join Imperial College Chamber Choir for our upcoming concert! We celebrate 100 years since women won the vote with an evening of choral music by women. Throughout history, classical music has been dominated by male composers – their female counterparts relatively unknown and now lost to the passage of time. The programme consists entirely of music composed by women, from the early romanticism of Fanny Mendelssohn to the contemporary works of Judith Weir. A homage to the female composers that were not paid due credit, come along for what promises to be an exciting and varied journey through less well known, rare choral music.
