Wilderness Medicine
Dr Jo-Ai Foley will be discussing how to get into expedition medicine and will discuss highlights from her previous trips. She has previously worked as an expedition doctor in many and varied places including Svalbard (in the Arctic), Nambia, China, Kilimanjaro and Brussels.
Dr Suzy Stokes will be providing insights into mountain medicine. She will reflect on the time she has spent in Nepal working for the HRA and providing medical treatment at altitude. Dr Stokes teaches o the mountain medicine diploma in Nepal.
