Helen Sharman OBE FRSC will be delivering a talk entitled "From Mars to the Stars: Travelling with a Degree in Science". This marks the start of this year's ChemSoc Seminar Series. Helen Sharman is a British born chemist who became the first Briton in space as well as the first female astronaut to visit the Mir space station. The talk will be followed by refreshments and networking in the Flowers building foyer immediately afterwards.
