Thank you for your interest in Representation! Here at Imperial College Union (ICU) we want to make sure you are best equipped for your role as a student Representative and therefore, in the Welcome and Wellbeing session you will be provided with information and training on the following:
- An introduction to ICU, the Graduate School and key faculty staff.
- The Postgraduate Representation Review and it’s structure.
- An overview of Representation and it’s importance.
- An overview of Wellbeing and what support Reps can offer.
- How Reps will be rewarded.
At the end of this session you will have:
- Developed a working relationship with other Reps, the Union and Faculty staff.
- Developed an understanding of your role & responsibilities.
- Developed an understanding of the context of the current PG representation structure and where you sit within it.
- Identified why Representation is important.
- Learnt about the different wellbeing support you can offer and what boundaries you should set.
- Learnt about the different opportunities for Reps throughout the year.
