Postgraduate Representatives

Postgraduate Representatives

Be the voice for Postgraduates at Imperial

If you are a Postgraduate Research student (i.e. studying for an MRes or PhD degree), then you can stand to be a Postgraduate Representative in the 2024 Leadership Elections. These representatives sit across Department, Faculty and College levels, and work to represent the interests of, and improve the experience of, fellow PGR students.

Postgraduate Research Representation Chair

The PGR Representation Chair is the top-level representative of all Postgraduate Research students across the College, including all four Faculties. They meet regularly with the Academic and Welfare Officers to gather feedback from students across the Faculties. They attend senior College meetings, such as The Senate, to voice the views of PGR students and lobby for improvements to the PGR experience. They also work closely with the Union, as the Postgraduate voice on senior Union committees, and with the Graduate School.
