Welcome to the Student Consultation Framework webpage
The Student Consultation Framework is a tool for facilitating good consultation with students. It recommends a minimum standard of consultation, based on feedback gained through extensive consultation with students, as well as numerous College and Union staff and committees (see 'Who we consulted'). It can be used by any department/member of staff within the College, and the Students’ Union, as a working tool, when wishing to consult with students on any change that may affect them.
All student academic representatives will be trained in how to use the framework when working with their depatments. It also provides the opportunity for staff within the College to achieve an Award for Great Consultation for their consultation process (see 'Award for Great Consultation').
