Currently the last shuttle departs from Hammersmith/ White City at around 4.30pm, and we have classes till 6! This means that we have to choose to either leave our lectures early or pay for the tube back. We need shuttle bus services that meets our needs. Your voice at Student Staff Committees and Union Council made a difference as we were able to present that there is an huge student need.

There is often little to no hot food options in the evening, which isn’t great for people burning the late night oil in the library!

Commuting can make it more difficult to fully take part in uni life, especially for students who also have work and caregiving responsibilities. Sector wide research shows that commuter students are more likely to 'obtain poorer outcomes from their higher education' and can be 'less engaged' with their studies.

Create an online platform where students can buy/ swap items with each other. The Union shop can help temporarily store items if students can’t find time to meet up with each other. Another way of facilitating second hand swapping is via Swap shop events.
