Tom Gordon
He/Him
Hi I'm Tom!
Studied:I've explored over 20 clubs and societies during my Imperial years, but spent most of my time involved with the Orchestras and Wind Band. Last year, I became the Treasurer of the Arts & Entertainments sector, representing societies from Dance to Musical Theatre and beyond!
My family is from Aberdeen (Scotland) and Rutland, but I grew up near Nottingham (the land of Robin Hood)!
Outside of work, you can probably find me playing the clarinet in one of our music societies or catching up with friends at FiveSixEight. I also created a Roblox game, but you'll have to ask me more about that in-person...
Why Imperial?
What first drew me to Imperial was the world-class facilities. As someone obsessed with planes, the wind tunnels and the flight simulators were really exciting.
One of the things I've really enjoyed about Imperial is being in London, as there's so much happening both on and off campus. Studying in South Kensington means having places like the Science Museum, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall on your doorstep, but the wider city is just as exciting.
