Review Assessment and Feedback practices with the intent of cutting down assessment where necessary and improve feedback practice across departments, focusing on quality and timeliness.

Master students are asked to resit in the following academic year under Imperial’s current academic regulations, which causes significant financial and emotional distress for the PG students who would feel confident about resitting while finishing their Research Project.

The experience one student has with their PT can vary vastly to another’s. My goal is to change the title to ‘Academic Tutor’ to mitigate against the expectation that a student is guaranteed a tailored pastoral experience when the staff member might not be equipped to provide it. This way, both staff and students know to keep academic and career topics on the agenda for their termly catchups and approach Student Wellbeing advisors for any wellbeing matters.
