- Junior Conference, aimed at students in Years 10-12 who are considering a career in Medicine, gives students an insight into life in Medicine through tutorials and practical workshops.
Programmes and sessions
Throughout the year, we run programmes for local schools.
- Roadshow, aimed for Year 9-13 students, is where we visit local schools and deliver talks on university life, work experience, interviews, and top tips during school years to inspire the next generation of medical students.
- Dr Me Project, aimed at students aged 9-11, is a health promotion and widening participation project which visits local primary schools to teach about common self-limiting illnesses and how to manage them.
We also run other sessions, such as interview mocks, in collaboration with charities and Faculty-ran outreach programmes.
