The Imperial College London Mathematics Society (Lovingly called MathSoc) is the student-run society dedicated to supporting all of our members.

Fuelled by curiosity, we bring Maths and JMC students together through events that are as fun as they are inspiring, from football matches and boat parties to hands-on quantitative finance workshops. Proofs, pizza, pals: whether you’re here to socialise, learn, or try something new, there’s something for everyone.

Backed by a variety of sponsors across finance, tech, and data science, we host regular workshops, talks, and networking sessions that connect students with cutting-edge ideas and career opportunities in academia, quantitative finance and AI/ML — maths with impact and a bit of flair.

This year we’re especially excited about Cauchy Capital, a new student-led quant finance project and collective, giving members a space to collaborate, research, and explore innovative ideas.
