The Imperial Krav Society is dedicated to the practice of Krav Maga, a martial art created specifically for real-life self defence. Krav incorporates strikes, locks, chokes and take-downs in order to help you adapt to any situation, like fighting against weapons, or multiple opponents. Build your self confidence and get fit while learning practical self defence techniques in a friendly and welcoming group at one of the biggest martial arts societies at Imperial!
No prior experience is required. Most people start from scratch and build up their techniques over time. It is one of the fastest, easiest and most effective martial arts to learn and is open to all! Visible progress is guaranteed after the first session. Due to the low barrier of entry feel free to join throughout the year. The more (consecutive) sessions you attend the faster your progress.
Our sessions include a high intensity warmup, great for improving your fitness, followed by demos and training from our qualified instructor. We also run a dedicated fitness session on Saturdays where you can practice your techniques.
