Felix is the weekly student newspaper of Imperial College London and covers a wide range of journalism relevant to the students. We print about 30 issues a year, which are distributed every Friday. As well as the usual sections such a news, comment, careers and sport, the paper also includes sections which cover film, music, the arts and local events, as well as light-hearted sections such as the centrefold and hangman. Anybody can get involved, no experience is needed and you will be made to feel welcome right from the start. As well as producing a weekly newspaper, magazines are also produced from the office, which include the science magazine I, Science, the arts magazine Phoenix. Felix is run by a full-time sabbatical but the content is provided by the students, so if you fancy trying your skills as a journalist, whether it be as a writer or a copy editor, or even a designer, come find us at Freshers' Fair or drop us an email.
