Imperial College Dramatic Society (DramSoc): Club, Society or Project of the Year 2017!! (If you have the laurels to rest on…)
Welcome to DramSoc! As a society we do everything and anything theatre related, with 2 plays a term giving everyone the chance to get involved.
We have people doing everything from acting, directing and choreography to set building, lighting and costume design, all of which you can get involved in.
Our technical team have a massive depth of knowledge that comes from providing technical services to events run in and around College for other societies, such as Musical Theatre Society, and Summer Ball. All training is provided and many of our alumni end up going into the industry. If this sounds exciting, come along to one of our workshops or email techdir@dramsoc.org.
Previous productions have ranged from Agatha Cristie’s And Then There Were None, to All in Good Time set in Bolton, to Compost a 5-star reviewed piece of original writing, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We run acting and tech workshops on topics including Stage Combat, Improvisation, Lighting, Set design and more.
If any of this has piqued your fancy, join our mailing lists at dramsoc.org/talk to get information about opportunities to act or join our technical team on events and shows.
If you are more interested in writing or directing a play, drop an email to:
president@dramsoc.org.
