ChemEngSoc exists to look after the interests of the chemical engineering students here at Imperial College (although everyone else is free to join us). Each year, ChemEngSoc proves to be one of Imperial's most active departmental societies with a number of popular social events held throughout the year. The freshers' welcome dinner, annual cocktail party and the ChemEng revue are undoubtedly highlights, while the annual dinner provides the the perfect end to the year. We also take place in Frank Mortons, a national sports competition against other chemical engineering departments. The Chemical Engineering Society places a strong emphasis on the career development of its students - regular presentations are organised with top employers from a range of different industries, giving you the chance to find out a little more about what they do. The free lunch provided afterwards is also always a help to a student budget!
