Welcome to Art Club!

Explore your creative side with our art workshops and socials, art studio and annual exhibition.

WORKSHOPS: We have two types of art workshops:

1) Arts and Crafts (painting, making, sculpture, printing, jewellery etc).

2) Life drawing (sketching the human form - FYI THE MODEL IS NAKED).

These workshops occur in our big lecture theatre in Royal School of Mines. We provide materials and instruction allowing you to just turn up and experiment with different mediums, styles and subjects.

SOCIALS: We have two types of socials:

1)On campus socials (arts and crafts based but a little more relaxed than the workshops and include drinks/snacks depending on the occasion.

2) Off campus socials (we do some occasional gallery visits where go and sketch or have a look what's on at London galleries and museums).

STUDIO: We also have our studio!

Members get keycard access to and are able to undertake their own projects with the materials in the studio. THE STUDIO IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO A WATER LEAK BUT WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS OPENING UP AGAIN We open up the studio to non-members on Fridays from 1800 (Friday Open Studio) space is limited however unfortunately due to the size of our studio.

EXHIBITION: We also organise hold our own Artclub exhibition!

This takes place in Imperial‘s Blyth Gallery in Febraury each year. Here you can show off your work and even potentially start off your artistic career!
