Hi I'm Jacob!

Studied: Biological Sciences

A definite highlight was the field trip to South Africa (African penguins are super cute).

This is my fourth year being a rep. I’ve dabbled in a few societies, including ICSM Water Polo, BioSoc, and a first-year stint in DramSoc, which even took me to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

I’ll definitely be looking around the Welcome Fair to see which society I should try next. I’m a pretty regular frequenter of the Union bars, an avid fan of Sports Night costumes (especially when face paint is involved), a strong advocate for Union Council (I have Stockholm syndrome), and have a particular fondness for ice cream.

I have probably slightly too many ideas for the year, alas, here are a few. I’ll try to achieve as many of the goals as possible!

Why Imperial?

I chose Imperial because I fancied being challenged and I have to say I did find it a baptism of fire... I have had such a great time living in London. There is so much I still haven't got round to doing yet!! A really cool experience I would not have been able to have at anywhere but Imperial has definitely been exploring the collections of the Natural History Museum (our next door neighbour). I hope I get to go up Queen's tower this year and that would definitely give Imperial a bonus point.

My Goals for 2026/27
