Hello everyone. My name is Isaac and I am this year’s ICSMSU President.

I have also been involved previously with the ICSMSU being the Academic Officer for Clinical Years, representing the Years 3, 5 and 6 students.

I am from the North West Midlands, yet have now spent over 11 years of my life in London. I love rowing in my spare time (in case the boat club captain wasn’t a give away) and alongside that enjoy my cycling.

Why Imperial?

For me one of the great things about Imperial is the great community that we have here. There is a great shared commonality of experience that I have been lucky to experience within the school of medicine.

Furthermore, the location is incredible. There is just so much going on in London that is great to get stuck into and explore. West London is a great place to be with many students living in Hammersmith (right next to the river).

Imperial also has incredible financial support to offer which really helps you to be able to enjoy the university experience and not have to spend every day concerned about the very real cost of living in London.
