What happens at the Commercial Advisory Group?

The Advisory Group meets once a term (plus extra meetings if needed) to talk about how ICU’s commercial services are doing and what’s coming up. It’s an opportunity for students to ask questions, give feedback, and make suggestions about a number of things, from financial updates to big events like the Summer Ball.

What does the group do?

Get updates on how ICU commercial services are performing financially.
Hear about upcoming projects and events, and have your say!
Raise any concerns or ideas related to ICU’s venues, shops, events or services.
Share feedback on commercial plans and policies.
Discuss key events throughout the year where required.

The Head of Commercial Services
Our Deputy Presidents (Welfare & Activities)
Student Trustees
Casual staff members
Students
Operational managers as required (Venues, Retail, Events & Partnerships)

How can I sign up?

If you’d like to be part of the Advisory Group, just fill out the sign-up form. Depending on applications, additional follow-up calls might be scheduled to establish the suitability of members.

The Head of Commercial Services will act as the Forum’s secretariat, making notes of actions and feedback as necessary.

The dates for the ICU Commercial Advisory Group for 2025-26 are:
