Friends of Palestine

Category: Cultural

Whether you're Palestinian, interested in learning about Palestinian culture or you simply sympathise with the plight of the Palestinian people, this is the society for you. After the atrocities performed by Israel during Operation Cast Lead a group of students decided enough was enough and that they wanted to do something to help. We're now entering our 7th year as a society and are growing from strength to strength. We have had a series of successful events, from talks by the likes of Professor Noam Chomsky, Dr. Ang Swee Chai, Ilan Pappe (to name a few) to organising a tour of Palestine and our annual Christmas dinner 'Christmas in Bethlehem'. We are always working hard to keep our society dynamic, fun, interesting and active. This year, with your help, we will carry on broadening our activities and inform Imperial College about Palestine. Check out our Facebook page for more information on what we do, how to get involved and other Palestine related events around London.
