As one of Imperial’s largest societies, DoCSoc brings together thousands of students. Whether you’re into computer science and tech or just here for our awesome socials, there's something for everyone!

To keep you on your toes, we run tons of tech talks from the likes of Jane Street, Anthropic, HRT, Citadel, Meta, Bloomberg, Google, and more. In the past we’ve hosted talks and workshops centred around machine learning, blockchain technology and sentiment analysis, to name a few examples. We also host workshops centred around learning particular technologies such as Rust, Docker or React Native.

Or join us at our annual flagship hackathon, IC Hack, where the best innovators from Imperial and beyond gather to build some extremely cool tech, all in 24 hours. If free sponsor merch, food from the likes Nando's, Dominos, and more, or random karaoke sessions are not enough, we don't know what is!

It's not all about ones and zeroes though. We organise a whole bunch of social events from theatre trips, ice skating, trampolining and more, all subsidised by a HUGE amount. We also host our own yearly boat party, along with our traditional black-tie End Of Year Dinner. And who could forget our legendary bar nights at the Union?

DoCSoc is run by DoC students, for DoC students (and for anyone interested in computing!), all to make your time at Imperial as enjoyable and rewarding as we can. Get involved!
