This year, we are looking at changing our democratic structure, to ensure Imperial College Union represents you more effectively.

We want you to be part of this change and help us shape the future of your union!

We are reviewing our democratic structure to make sure that the ways you can make change and make your voice heard are effective, impactful and accessible.

We want to ensure our student-led decision-making processes are fit for purpose and are aiming to make changes whenever needed.

We have previously reviewed our democratic structure, but this time, we want to do a larger, broader job, making sure that we speak to as many students as possible.

We can't do this without you!

We’ve appointed an independent sector consultancy, CounterCulture LLP, to conduct a full review of the ways ICU represents students’ views.

• They have been holding interviews with key stakeholders and student leaders.
• They have also collected student feedback through focus group sessions. We will be sharing more about these sessions very shortly.

The survey is a part of the wider democracy review at ICU.

We want to understand how you use and navigate your union and how your experiences differ with other students.

We will ask you a few questions. Rest assured - your response will remain anonymous and the data captured below will not be used to identify you. It will be used for analysis only.

Your response will be considered alongside the range of interviews, workshops and document reviews that the review team are undertaking.
