The Summer Term is our favourite here at Imperial College Union. Not only does it, in theory, have the best weather for us to enjoy in the Quad with a glass of Pimms, but is also when we hold our Summer Ball! We will be announcing the lineup for this year's Ball later this week. However, in the mean time, we are pleased to announce our exciting new evening menu in the Union.

Imperial College Symphony Orchestra wins National Competition

Imperial College Symphony Orchestra (ICSO), an auditioned 80-strong orchestra composed of Imperial students and staff conducted by Richard Dickins, won the first ever UK Inter-University Orchestra Competition on Thursday 27th March. ICSO held off strong competition from the three other finalists from Cambridge University, Manchester University and Southampton University at the Finals day hosted at the prestigious Cadogan Hall in London.

Sabbatical Elections 2008 - Results

The results for this year's Sabbatical Elections have now been announced with Jennifer Morgan elected as Imperial College Union President. Also elected were Lily Topham as Deputy President (Clubs and Societies), Hannah Theodorou as Deputy President (Education & Welfare), Christian Carter as Deputy President (Finance & Services and Jovan Nedic as Felix Editor.

Election Results Announcement

After Thursday evening's Election Committee meeting, all candidates are happy with the election count to go ahead. As such, the announcement of the results of the Sabbatical Elections will be made in da Vinci's at 19:00 on Friday 29 February.
