2026 INTERNATIONAL ORTHOPAEDICS CONFERENCE- Non-Members

The International Orthopaedics Conference 2026 is a two-day, in-person academic and skills-based conference hosted at Imperial College London by the Surgical Society in collaboration with the Orthopaedics Society. Taking place on 17–18 January 2026 at the Sir Alexander Fleming (SAF) Building, this conference is designed to provide medical students and early-career doctors with an in-depth introduction to modern orthopaedic practice through a combination of expert-led teaching, practical workshops, and academic engagement. The programme will feature: • Eight high-order hands-on orthopaedic workshops, utilising sawbones, power tools, and theatre-level techniques • A distinguished faculty including internationally recognised surgeons, senior UK consultants, and academic leaders in orthopaedics • Plenary lectures and expert Q&A panels covering the current and future landscape of orthopaedic surgery • A national poster competition, with selected abstracts eligible for publication in international, PubMed-indexed journals • Dedicated networking sessions with speakers, workshop faculty, and industry partners This conference is suited to students considering a career in orthopaedics, those seeking practical surgical exposure, and individuals interested in orthopaedic research and innovation. All sessions will be delivered in person. A valid ticket is required for workshop participation and poster presentation.
