Oscar Wilde’s trivial comedy for serious people, “The Importance of Being Earnest”, is a brilliant satire on Victorian high society, where the mask of class begins to slip away to reveal the web of lies, false names, and a very important handbag strung together in the chaotic pursuit of marriage.
Featuring some of the most eccentric characters of the era, the show is packed with wit, confusion and utter hilarity as Wilde exposes the absurd escapades of the upper class.
