Our Community Pages

Staying connected

Over this Christmas period, it might be harder to stay connected due to social distancing measures. Whether you're at home over the holidays, or staying around in London, we want to help you stay connected to the Imperial community.

Find a Christmas Buddy

We know there are going to be a lot more of us around than usual this Christmas holiday. If, for whatever reason, you're expecting to be alone over this holiday or want to find some other people in a similar position to do stuff around London with, fill in this form! We'll do our best to match you up with suitable people who want to do similar things.

Stay Connected Remotely

Why not join an online community of Imperial students over Christmas? We've got a Facebook group as well as a Teams channel where we'll be hosting all of our virtual events over the holiday. Join one of these groups if you want to get involved in our events, connect with other students from around the world, find people to do something fun with, or maybe share some festive cooking!

All of our events, including those by clubs and societies, will be up on the What's On page!

Get that Imperial Christmas look

Our brand new online Shop launched this week and it's ready and waiting for your orders! It's the only place in the world you'll find Imperial branded Christmas jumpers - along with branded gifts, stationery, clothing and more. The first 30 people to place an order are in for a free treat! If you'd like your items delivered before Christmas, please check out before 17 December to give our Shop team enough time to fulfil your order.

We'll still be available over the break

This is a longer break than usual, particularly with uncertainty around exactly when term 2 will begin. So we won't be shutting up shop completely. Our Union email inbox (union@imperial.ac.uk) will be monitored throughout the holiday. If you've got an urgent query or concern, or need help with something relevant over the holiday period, please direct it there. We won't be monitoring our own individual emails, just the Union one!
