#ICyoutoo is the inaugural event of “We Need to Talk” – a student-led campaign aimed at reducing the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault at Imperial. In 2014, the Telegraph reported that 1 in 3 female students in UK had experienced some form of sexual assault or abuse on campus, and 1 in 8 males had experienced groping or unwanted sexual advances. In addition, half of the female students and one-third of male ones knew a friend or relative who had been subjected to sexually inappropriate behaviour whilst at university. If you have faced any form of sexual harassment or assault at Imperial, or seen it happen, we want to hear about it! Stop by the Queen’s Lawn anytime between 12:00 - 14:00 on Monday, 26 February, and tell us where it happened. Simply write your answers on T-shirts and be a part of our interactive display! #ICyoutoo – Join the conversation.
