String Ensemble Taster Rehearsal

ICSE is Imperial’s only orchestra dedicated to performing the vast and highly varied repertoire of string music. Rehearsals take place in a fun and friendly environment, with refreshments provided, and are followed by socials which in past years have included film nights, pubs, house parties and meals. We hold a concert at the end of each term and also go on tour each year. This February, we'll be heading to Glastonbury, Somerset for our Weekend Away. This term, we’ll be playing: Purcell - Chacony in G Minor (arr. Britten) Tippett - Concerto for Double String Orchestra Walton - Two Pieces from Henry V Auditions are not required and violin, viola, cello and bass players of all abilities are welcome!
