Academic Rep Induction Session

Have you been elected as an Academic Representative for 2016/17? You are now one of 500+ volunteers who have stepped forward to speak up for the students in their course, department or faculty. The Academic Representation Network brings together Reps from across the College. In this session, you will: Understand what the Union is, who we are, what we do and how we will support you Learn about and practice the key skills that will make you an effective Academic Representative Learn about past successes of the Rep Network, and how you can campaign for change in your department Understand how the Union can help you translate your volunteer experience into skills valued by employers Meet some of the staff and student officers who will support you in the year ahead
