East African Playgrounds is a unique charity that aims to use the skills, enthusiasm and energy of young people in the UK to help make a real difference to children living in difficult situations across Uganda. We run educational play training programs, build and install high quality playgrounds and run vocational training programs in Community schools, children’s hospitals and refugee settlements across Uganda. We also run one of the best ethical international volunteering programs in the UK. Each year we have teams of young adults from the UK come out to Uganda and support our work. These teams are the life blood of East African Playgrounds and you as a Leader Intern are the most important part of these teams.
