The best outfit to train in, top is thick (much less likely to rip) and just overall better suited to jitsu.
These gis are perfect for Japanese Jitsu. They are also fine for beginners learning BJJ and basic use. Later in your BJJ journey, especially if youre thinking about competing, you will need a thicker gi (the thicker the gi the harder it is for your opponent to grip you). These would cost 50-60. Its perfectly fine to purchase this gi, but if you know youre going to buy a better gi in the future I recommend pay a bit more for a slightly better one.
