"When Panopto didn't work at the beginning of term, rather than write it up as a technical glitch - he went home and rerecorded the two lectures that didn't work in his spare time, and put them up on YouTube. He puts a full repository up on GitHub, and allows us to create issues [for example, inconsistent specification], in addition to also letting us propose changes through the 'Pull Request' feature on GitHub. Far from being just a proof of concept, he really helped us use this tool, and as a result our questions were efficiently answered. This was helpful because as opposed to email, it was a public channel, so everyone could benefit from the additional information that was provided by him in his answers to these questions. The discussions could also continue, and other people could chip in to ask questions or request further collaborations. "
