Disabilities History Month

Wednesday 22 November marks the beginning of Disabilities History Month at Imperial. This year Imperial College Union’s Disabilities Officer, Hisham Abdel Aty, presents a student-led initiative with a month full of celebrations, including interactive events and opportunities to raise money and awareness about disabilities within the Imperial College community.

Hisham is asking the whole Imperial community to get involved through volunteering to simulate a visual, hearing or physical impairment for a day - or longer - in order to raise awareness of how accessible teaching and facilities are at Imperial College London. Throughout the month, volunteers will be equipped with all the resources they need in order to complete the activity. Interested in volunteering? Sign up below!
