Hi! I am a first year bioengineer. My experience in Women in SET has been fun and fulfilling and I wish contribute to this society and reach out to more people by becoming a sponsorship manager.
I am outgoing, hardworking with good interpersonal and negotiation skills. I’m always happy to meet more people while remaining professional and responsible. While I was in high school in Singapore, I was involved in a research attachment project. I worked closely with professors in the University of Singapore as a point of contact between students in my high school and the university. Last year, I interned in the overseas department of a medical equipment company, PRO Hifu. My main role was email correspondence to the company’s overseas clients, and presentation and introduction of the company’s products to potential clients.
All these experiences equip me with the necessary skills that allow me to be professional and competent with companies and people in the industry. But most importantly, I love this society! I think it plays an important role in encouraging female students in fields that might seem daunting. My passion and dedication for the society will motivate me to be responsible and do a good job in working closely with sponsors!
