Under Pressure

Imperial College Union understands that sometimes stress is unavoidable. The Under Pressure campaign aims to give students strategies for coping during periods of heightened stress.

The Under Pressure Campaign returns next term!

Stress, Work and more Stress?!

Imperial College is a high-performing and fast paced environment. Often students think the amount of work they have and the level of stress they are under is normal for anybody completing a degree and university. Whilst there will always be some stress associated with studying, Under Pressure looks to help students understand how to combat overwhelming stress, effectively time manage and learn how to have a healthy work-life balance.

The transition to university can be a very difficult and uncertain one but Imperial College Union is here to help!

The Campaign

Every year Imperial College Union runs its Under Pressure campaign at the end of first and second term. Past campaigns have seen students across the institution enjoyed free massages, meditation & mindfulness sessions, arts & crafts, games and free smoothies during our two campaign weeks in term 1 and term 2. We were thrilled with all the students who joined us to take some time out of their days to rest, relax and refocus.

We understand that stress can occur all year round, not just during our campaign weeks. We have some resources that are available on our website for your to download and help you combat stress!

Why not check out our top 10 stress busters and tips for effective revision strategies? There is also a meal planner template to help you pre-plan healthy, balanced meals during those weeks when you're busy working away and revising. But what meals will you plan to cook? Fear not, we've found some brain-boosting, healthy recipes for you to try out! All of these resources are available to download on the right.
