LGBT History Month is an initiative that focuses on the celebration and recognition of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people and culture, past and present; increasing the visibility of LGBT histories, lives and their experiences.

IQ will be on the level 2 of the Sherfield Concourse from 9:45am with free giveaways.

Tuesday 13 February, 18:00 - 20:00 - IQ host a talk with Lola Phoenix (Royal School of Mines LT 2.28)

Lola Phoenix is coming in to give their fascinating talk on the history of the Stonewall Riots, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera and more for LGBT History Month! They've presented this talk at Warwick, Goldsmiths and BiCon, and it promises to be an unmissable exploration of our community's history. Snacks will be provided, and there will be an opportunity for a Q&A at the end. We're really looking forward to hosting this stellar speaker - find out more about the event here!

Monday 19 February, 18:30 - 19:30 - Inclusion for All by Amnesty International (Human Rights Action Centre)

Shaun Dellenty will be presenting a talk on his multi-award winning programme, Inclusion for All, and its aims to foster positive LGBT+ inclusion in UK schools from nursury upwards. You can register for your free ticket here.
