Black History Month is an opportunity to shine a light on the achievements of the black community, to tell and listen to stories of the black experience, both past and present. At Imperial College Union we embrace Black History Month 2020 and encourage our members to take part. Black History Month is a time to look back on our shared black history, heritage and culture. This is also a month to look forward and celebrate black culture - here and now.
Events
This year’s Black History Month program has been developed in partnership with the African Carribean Society (ACS) and this year's BME Officer, Debbie Adegoke. All students and staff are encouraged to take part. This program celebrates black culture and educates us on topics that are affecting the community today. Be sure to also check out the events College has organised.
