Jack Bovill

UKIP
Kensington
Candidate Manifesto:

Jack Bovill has lived in Earl’s Court, Kensington for the last 45 years. He first came to Kensington in 1970 and apart from three years in Australia, has lived there ever since.

Jack started work in a bank in the City and after six years moved on to a new career purchasing buildings for various schools teaching English, A & S level and Secretarial courses. Wishing to expand his learning he also owned a jewellery shop, several yacht chandleries and on the fall of the Berlin Wall, started a computer and printer Exchange in Fulham.

In 2000 he retired, taking a limited interest in Education being variously Chair of Governors for the local Adult Education College, the Kensington and Chelsea College, as well as Chair of the Gatehouse School near Victoria Park, East London.  He was also for 11 years Chair of the English Spelling Society.

In retirement he keeps an interest in politics which started in being nominated for the General Election in 1979 and standing in the General Election in 2005. Up to now he has always stood as an Independent.

Jack sees UKIP as the only reasonable party to back, standing apart from the problems that seem to have become endemic in the Tweedle Dum, Tweedle Dee parties where promises are not kept and the interest of the people of the United Kingdom and of the country come second to the self-interest of MPs and their connected parties.

Jack Bovill is delighted to have received this nomination from UKIP. He can be contacted jack.bovill@UKIPlocal.org and followed on Twitter @jackbov
