We are lucky to have a range of facilities right across London available to Imperial College Union sports teams.

South Kensington

The Union Gym, located on the third floor of the Union building in Beit Quad is always busy being used by various groups, from kabbadi to pole dancing and muay thai to cross country. The sprung flooring and full length mirrors make it a really good facility for a range of sports and dance. This space can be booked through the room booking system online or through the annual sports facilities booking system.

Ethos is our University sports centre which Imperial College students have free membership to. It boasts a gym, sports hall, climbing wall, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, squash courts and strength and conditioning suite. There is also a dance studio where studio classes are held and some of our sports groups run classes and use it as a practise space. The centre is run by Sport Imperial which is the sports facilities department within Imperial College London.

Heston & Harlington

Heston and Harlington are the Imperial College sports grounds both based in West London and managed by Sport Imperial. The grounds are used by many of our indoor and outdoor sports clubs including football, rugby, American football, hockey and cricket.

Harlington has been part of Imperial College for many years and due to gravel extraction from the site, money is available in the Harlington Trust (http://www.imperial.ac.uk/admin-services/secretariat/about-the-secretariat/what-we-do/the-harlington-trust/) to appy for for the benefit of Imperial College students. This is often for equipment so many sports clubs utilise this trust fund.
