Club, Society & Project Officer Training

Student Activities offer a range of training for new and returning Club, Society & Project (CSP) officers. This ranges from face-to-face workshops to articles on our Training Hub and our annual Officer Academy conference-style training day.

The Training Hub

Your first port of call for general information around running your Club, Society or Project is the Training Hub.

The content on this site is designed to help students at Imperial understand more about the the processes and procedures of Imperial College Union, and will be regularly updated to reflect any changes.

Officer Academy (OA18)

Officer Academy is our conference-style training day. Is is run in both the summer and autumn terms to train new and returning CSP committee officers. This includes essential training on topics like finance and managing risk, as well as skills-based workshops such as Project & Events Management.

OA18 Autumn term workshops

We also run an extended calender of workshops throughout the autumn term (October - November), delivered in part by our team of student trainers as well as staff members of the Student Activities team. The workshops are designed to further develop your knoweldge and skills as a committee officer and help you negotiate the Union and College processes.

Drop-Ins 

The Student Activities team also offer a number of drop-in sessions throughout the year to answer specific queries and to offer advice and support. These are advertised on the What's On calender.
